Bring the Thunder!

The Town of Odessa, Saskatchewan has found that Thunder on the Prairies is a pretty big deal and people are loving the quick jaunt out of Regina to enjoy the roar of modified tractors, the snort and grunt of heavy horses and the laughter of family and friends as kids try their best in the pedal tractor pulls. And as if that isn’t enough, there will be music and some down time from all the excitement! Odd Man Out and Wildfire will be playing bringing back some musical memories.

Tickets are a hot commodity for the 8th Annual Thunder on the Prairies. You can follow how the weekend unfolds on their Facebook page. For those of you with dogs, the organizers ask that you make other arrangements for your pets, this is not the place for them. Service Canines will be allowed.

Good Morning Saskatchewan was joined by one of the organizers, Joe Hoffart. He wants to share some details on the importance of this event to Odessa. Thunder on the Prairies this weekend wants to thank all of the ticket holders for coming out, the participants that bring the energy to the track, plus the sponsors and the great volunteers that make the event a success.
