Saskatchewan has issued a fire ban for provincial lands, parks and the northern administrative district due to hot and dry conditions.
The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency says open fires, controlled burns and fireworks are not allowed on those lands or within 4.5 kilometres of the provincial forest boundary.
The agency is also encouraging municipalities to consider imposing their own bans.
People are asked to take extreme caution, including when using all-terrain vehicles.
They are also asked to report a fire if they see one.
A heat warning has been issued across the province, with temperatures in many areas expected to exceed 30 C.
