The first occurred around 3 a.m. Friday, when police say a woman was approached by an unknown male while walking between campsites, and was sexually assaulted.

The second incident happened at about 10:00 Friday night, when police say a woman was approached by an unknown male as she was exiting a portable restroom.

Mounties say the male made verbal comments toward the woman, then made physical advances, trying to force her into one of the portable restrooms, but she was able to fight him off and escape without injury.

The man involved in this incident is described as being about six feet tall, wearing a red plaid shirt, jean shorts, a tan cowboy hat, and two diamond earrings.

Police don’t believe the two incidents are related at this time.
