Classic Community Event in Creelman (Audio)

If you have ever been to an American county fair, you know that there’s a little bit of everything and it reflects what we used to have in communities all across the country-side. Exhibits that showcased baking, garden bounty, flower beds, photography and artwork. The close knit community gathered to share stories about their year, catch up on all the news and enjoy great food, like a cold plate, piece of pie and maybe a cold beverage. There were kids showing their best beef cattle, sheep, hogs and fancy poultry. If you cannot remember events like this, don’t despair, just head to Creelman, Saskatchewan.

This weekend the Creelman Agriculture Society is celebrating their 120th Anniversary and would love to see you.

Kids’ Midway. Concessions. Beach Volleyball. Slo-Pitch Tournament. Beer Garden. Live Entertainment on the main stage and Birnie’s Minis, a 6-pony hitch demo. A pig scramble, dog show, equine and cattle show. YES, the day is jam packed and it starts at 7:30 with pancakes at the Memorial Hall followed by the parade at 10am.
