And just like that your summer is disappearing! But wait! This summer is filled with fun ways to fill these days. I seem to recall being a kid and being bored through summer. Perhaps that’s why I make every day count when it comes to “eventing!” July 19 to 21st has us running all over Saskatchewan talking to organizers about their events.
Creelman. Kennedy. Bulyea. AND, just south of Moose Jaw you’ll find the Sukanen Ship Pioneer Village and Museum.
Take the trip south of Moose Jaw by 13 kms. The Royal Canadian Air Force Wing 15 is along the way, so you might want to keep your eyes to the sky for some training maneuvers! This is always a bonus. The event is classified as a family event and the price is right as well. If you have young children or you want to take seniors to this event, new families to Saskatchewan, it is a true glimpse into the past. The prices on concessions will reflect that. There is a family rest station for parents to tend to their babies. And you’ll want to stay hydrated on this hot Saskatchewan weekend.
Hunter Nixon works with the Sukanen Ship Pioneer Village and Museum, so let’s check in with her to find out more!
And just like that, your Sunday is planned for you! Read more about events like the Kennedy Moose Mountain Pro Rodeo in our blogs.
