Seven trees with Dutch Elm Disease to be removed from block

City of Regina Forestry Crews will remove seven elm trees on the 2200 Block of Elphinstone Street tomorrow due to Dutch Elm Disease (DED).

The trees tested positive for DED last week. Regina has already confirmed a record thirty-six DED cases this year.

Residents can help prevent the spread by reporting suspected DED cases to Service Regina and not bringing or storing elm wood in the city.
