Pull Up That Sleeve!

How can I help to save a life? Sometimes it is as easy as rolling up your sleeve, taking about 45 minutes of your time and just relax and breath with Canadian Blood Services. This peaceful, engaging break from your day is just what the patient ordered. You’re right, I said “patient”. With a long weekend coming up, people travelling, summer surgery schedules and emergencies, booking an appointment at Canadian Blood Services | Canada’s Lifeline is something to seriously consider.

You’ll find staff from Canadian Blood Services at a variety of events giving you information on who is able to donate blood, plasma, stem cells, organs and tissue. CBS will surprise you with the ways your donation can help save someone’s life.

When economic times are tight, this is the one thing we can do that is selfless and affordable. Just picking up the phone or going on line to book your appointment takes only a few minutes. CBS clinics are a friendly, safe place with staff walking you through your appointment. Personally, it has been awhile since I donated and the reason, my iron levels were low OR something to that effect. I just don’t think I have big enough veins to pump that blood! After your donation take the time to relax and have a snack. Rebook and repeat and start a lifelong commitment to helping others. The clinics are held in a new facility: 4180 Albert Street, Regina. Lots of free parking and some good spots to go for lunch or supper afterward. 1-888-2-DONATE
