Early Saturday morning, Regina Fire and Protective Services responded to a house fire in the 1000 block of Rae Street.

The emergency call came in at 5:55 a.m. , upon arrival, firefighters were met with thick smoke and visible flames roaring from inside the residence.

The fire was brought under control in a remarkably short time. After thorough searches of the property, it was confirmed that there were no injuries as a result of the blaze.

A fire inspector was on the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
