The construction of the General Hospital parkade is coming along nicely and making significant progress. It is a much-needed addition to the hospital and the downtown core, addressing a critical demand for more parking space. My hope is that once it’s operational, they don’t gouge the customers with exorbitant fees to the point where it doesn’t truly benefit them as intended. This parkade has the potential to bring great convenience, but it should also remain accessible to those who need it most.
