The Regina Police Service and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are investigating a death in the city.

Early Saturday morning police and EMS were called to home on Montague Street near 4th avenue.

When police arrived they found the body of a woman. The Regina Police Major Crime Unit and the Forensic Identification Unit were then called in.

Next of kin have been notified, but police are not releasing the name of the person.

Regina Police are asking anyone with information to come forward, either by calling them, or Crimestoppers at 1-9800-222-TIPS (8477).
