Moose Jaw RCMP received a report of a collision involving a pedestrian on Highway #1 near Mortlach at about 9:50 p.m. last night.

A male pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver stayed at the scene, and the westbound lanes of the highway were temporarily closed. 

The investigation is ongoing, and RCMP asks anyone with information to reach out to them or Crime Stoppers
