Sunday Morning Apartment Fire Kept to Single Suite

Yesterday morning, fire crews were dispatched to a multi-family building in Regina after reports of a fire on the 3300 block of Garnet Street. The call came in at 10:03 a.m., and firefighters arrived quickly to find a blaze in one of the suites. The fire was contained to the suite of origin, preventing it from spreading to other parts of the building.

No injuries were reported, as residents were either evacuated or were not in immediate danger. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Authorities have yet to release details about the possible origin of the blaze.

This fire is a good reminder for residents to ensure their smoke detectors are functioning properly and to have an evacuation plan in place in case of emergencies.
