The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, are investigating a death that occurred on the 1000 block of King Street.
Police and EMS were dispatched to a call for service at a residence in the 1000 block of King Street shortly after 10 p.m. on Aug. 23 where they located a deceased adult female. Officers secured the residence and requested the additional resources of the Regina Police Service Major Crime Unit and the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit.
At this early stage of the investigation, police say, no further details will be released to the public. Next of kin has been notified, however, the victim’s name will not be released at this time.
