The Riders may be coming up short on wins, but you can’t doubt the effort.
The CFL took the wraps off its “Honor Roll” for the month of August. Roughrider Quarterback Trevor Harris was named to its “Honour Roll” as player of the month and offensive player of the month.
Quarterback Shea Patterson had an honourable mention after filling in for Harris while he nursed an injury.
Winnipeg’s Tyrell Ford was named to the “Honour Roll” on defense. The Bombers defensive standout picked up two more interceptions, his third and fourth of the season, as well as numerous tackles, special teams tackles, and two knockdowns.
The Edmonton Elks entire offensive line was named to the “Honour Roll” in August as well.
The Elks picked up their first three wins of the season, and the O-Line was a major part of that.
