The second 620 CKRM Country Cookout for the Harvest season is in the books as we spent the day in Francis, Tyvan and the surrounding rural area’s. We had a great time with the Kleins of Francis, friends neighbors and crew. Big thanks to everybody for the hospitality and the kind words.
Tommy John Ehman was once again fantastic performing and everyone spoke very highly of him and his brother last night.Tommy was born and raised in Saskatchewan, Tommy is faithful to his rural roots in his music and in his life. He raised his family, with his wife Tallie, on their fifth-generation farm at Craik in a “catalogue” house built by his great grandpa more than 100 years ago. His son Evan has now taken over the farming operation and continues the family tradition on the land
Shout out to Nicky’s Café & Catering for the great meal and to our friends at Original 16 & Last Mountain Distillery’s for the beverages. To all our sponsors involved, we can’t do this without you. Thank You!
I had a chance to hang out in Francis prior to our cookout and I came across a lot of wonderful sights that I would love to share with you. I really love the characther homes and the massive yards.
