Estevan RCMP say one man is dead, while another was injured, following a two-vehicle crash north of the city last on Friday night.

Around 7 p.m., Mounties and members of the Estevan Police Service were called out to the Highway 39 bypass, east of Highway 47, north of Estevan, where the initial investigation determined that a car collided with a semi-unit.

Police say the victim, only identified as a 66-year-old Estevan man, died at the scene, while the man driving the semi sustained minor injuries.

The RCMP Collision Reconstructionist continues to investigate the incident.
