The Major League Baseball regular season is done for another year and the remaining teams are officially into playoff mode now. If your child is asking for a Shohei Ohtani baseball jersey for Christmas or for an upcoming birthday, it could be difficult to find.
For a second year in a row the top selling baseball jersey belongs to Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers. This was a momentous year for the baseball prodigy, getting 50 homers and 50 stolen bases, marking the first time a player has reached that accomplishment in one season. Last year there was a lot media buzz on where Ohtani was going to end up after his time with the Angels. Numerous reports indicated he was off to the Toronto Blue Jays, however the Dodgers were able to reach an agreement with him.
The second most sought after MLB jersey belonged to Bryce Harper of the Philadelphia Phillies, followed by Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees, Mookie Betts of the Dodgers, and Francisco Lindor of the Mets.
Only one Toronto Blues Jays player made the top 20 list of the best selling MLB jerseys this year. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. placed 12th on the list. Fans were hoping to see Vladdy’s 200th hit of the season at the game on Sunday, but the Marlins prevented him from reaching the number, stopping him at 199 hits.
