BIENFAIT – A section of Highway 39 in southeast Saskatchewan is closed Sunday morning due to an accident.

According to the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure’s Highway Hotline, the incident occurred near the Bienfait Mine Access Road, which is east of the junction of Highways 39 and 18.

All lanes were closed. Drivers were asked to use caution and follow emergency personnel at the site. 

No further details were immediately released.
