Crash claims life of 35-year-old Piapot First Nation man

A fatal collision occurred on last night at around 6:30 p.m. on Highway #6, about 10 kilometers north of Regina.

RCMP confirmed that the driver of one vehicle, a 35-year-old man from Piapot First Nation, died at the scene. An adult male passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The other driver involved in the crash was hospitalized with serious injuries. Highway #6 was temporarily closed but has since reopened.

Southey RCMP is continuing its investigation with the help of a collision reconstruction specialist.
