Moose Jaw is cracking down on unpaid parking tickets with a new enforcement campaign that could lead to vehicle impoundments. People with unpaid fines will receive letters this week and must pay within 60 days to avoid further action.
City Manager Maryse Carmichael highlighted that parking ticket revenue supports essential services like infrastructure repairs.
The February-passed Impounding Bylaw gives the city authority to tow or immobilize vehicles for unpaid fines. Payment options are outlined on the city’s website.
