Skills Canada Saskatchewan, with support from SATCC, is promoting Skilled Trade and Technology Week from Nov. 3 to 9 to inspire young people in Saskatchewan to consider careers in trades and technology.
Events this week include a skills fair on November 7 for middle and high school students to explore careers and meet industry professionals. Skills Canada Saskatchewan also offers year-round programming, such as skills competitions and trade workshops across the province, while SATCC oversees the Saskatchewan Youth Apprenticeship (SYA) program to help students earn credits and build job-ready skills in trades.
