Saskatchewan housing market ‘tight’ according to realtors report

Home sales in Regina rose sharply in October, marking an 18 percent increase year-over-year and reaching levels 47 percent above the 10-year trend.

By October, Regina had reached a record 3,447 sales for the year, even as new listings struggled to meet demand. The city’s residential benchmark price rose to $321,000, a five percent increase from October 2023.

With only two months of supply on the market, Regina faces some of the tightest conditions in Saskatchewan. Demand has remained steady across the province, and Guérette noted it is a challenging time for buyers as inventory remains low.
