We are honoured to celebrate National Indigenous Veterans’ Day, acknowledging the military service of First Nations, Inuit and Métis in Canada. They continue to proudly serve Canada in operations here at home and overseas, as they have bravely done for over 200 years. Our nations diversity makes us stronger. On Indigenous Veterans’ Day, Remembrance Day, and every day, we honour their service, their courage and the sacrifice of all veterans.
Many Vets from the Ochapawace, Cowessess, Kahkewistahaw and surrounding first nations always marched in the procession to the Broadview Cenotaph. We Remember.

I have had a chance to visit a lot of Cenotaphs in my journey’s around Saskatchewan and I would love to share some images with you. If you would like to share please do so in the comment section.
