Saskatchewan RCMP are reminding drivers to be aware of wildlife on the roads, following several such collisions across the province Friday night.
Mounties say five motor vehicle collisions were reported between 6:20 and 6;45 Friday night, in which vehicles collided with moose, in the Hudson Bay, Rose Valley, Prince Albert, Melfort/Kinistino and Southey areas.
In each case, the vehicles were damaged, but no one in the vehicles were injured.
Police remind the public to be careful when driving in treed areas, especially at night and in the early morning hours, when visibility is poor.
As well, they remind drivers to watch for movement on or alongside the road, and to travel slowly in areas where wildlife is known to frequent.
