For 21 years the LeRoy Leisure Lotto has been giving back to important community organizations and initiatives such as LeRoy Daycare, LeRoy Minor Ball, LeRoy Skating Club, minor hockey, and the senior citizen’s centre. People who come from small town Saskatchewan know how important these types of organizations are for the future of the community. For those who don’t know, not only do these services keep people active, but it also helps kids stay active, stay out of trouble, and build important friendships and leadership skills.
Every year a dedicated group of volunteers organize the annual LeRoy Leisure Lotto, which gives Saskatchewanians 34 chances to win money. They have an army of volunteers who mail out letters, call past buyers, answer phones, and even provide food and snacks to those helping. It’s a total community effort.
This year, the lotto is giving away two grand prize options of $130,000 in cash or a leisure package which includes a choice of a truck, a travel trailer, and a choice of an ATV or sea-doo.
Second prize is a hot tub or $10,000 and third prize is $5000. There are also 20 draws of $1000 and 10 draws of $500, plus a 50/50.
The fundraising lotto ends at 8pm on November 22nd with all 34 draws set for 8pm November 23rd. Those interested in a ticket can call 1-866-925-3769.
