Regina police are treating the death of a woman, who was found with gunshot wounds earlier this week, as a homicide.
Regina police service officers responded to the 1400 block of Argyle Street at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, after receiving reports of an injured person. Upon arrival, they discovered the woman on the ground with serious injuries. Police provided first aid until EMS transported her to hospital.
The victim succumbed to her injuries early Friday morning, prompting the Major Crimes Unit and Saskatchewan Coroners Service to launch an investigation.
Authorities are appealing to residents and businesses near Argyle Street for video surveillance captured between the evening of December 2 and early December 3. Investigators urge anyone with footage, even if seemingly irrelevant, to contact police.
