Saskatchewan’s housing market saw significant price growth in November, fueled by ongoing inventory challenges and strong demand, according to the provincial realtors association monthly report. The province’s benchmark price stood at $338,400, over five percent higher than November 2023.
The Prince Albert region led year-over-year price growth at 7.2 percent, followed by Saskatoon-Biggar (6.3 percent) and Swift Current-Moose Jaw (5.9 percent). Moose Jaw posted the largest monthly gains, with prices up nearly 11 percent compared to last year.
“After a record-breaking October, November delivered unprecedented results,” said CEO Chris Guérette in a media release, highlighting 17 consecutive months of above-average sales and widespread regional growth in Saskatchewan’s housing market.
