Two 15 year olds have been charged with second degree murder, after a man was stabbed and killed on Boxing Day in Regina.
On December 26th, police were called to 8th and Retallack after a reports of an injured man in that area. When police arrived, they found a victim with multiple stab wounds. He died at the scene a short time later. He has been identified as 30 year old Charles Russell Thompson, and is Regina’s sixth murder victim of 2024.
The two 15 year olds were arrested on Saturday, and charged with second degree murder. Both have also been charged with failure to comply with a release order.
Their ages prevent us from releasing their names.
They will be in provincial court in Regina today.
