I had how many days off during Christmas and what did I do? Probably same as you; slept in, travelled a bit, went to movies, ate some good food, slept and then got back to work. Four, five days into 2025, I am now motivated to start putting things into garbage, recycle, repurpose or donate.
Climbing around to clean the bathroom air vent, wiped down the walls and cleaned around the vanity lights, changed light bulbs, washed the floor and threw out old face creams and other outdated cosmetics. And then I went on to try and do some cosmetic work on my toilet, putting new hardware on the toilet seat. I don’t think the seat is in any better shape than when I started!
How much fun is it to look in places that you don’t normally look, like under the sink. Between the lotions and creams, aerosols, dental and hair products – some outdated, I was more than happy to find pooling of water on a tote. Where might this have come from. As I’m feeling around under the sink, I feel the problem. The drainage pipe is crumbling away. So, to another room to wash thy face and brush thy teeth until this little problem is fixed. NOW, at least the piping did not have a full blow-out. That is until I was feeling around to see just how corroded it actually was!
Well, things like that just make you wanna stay up all night continuing to clean – I suppose that is why you need to keep on top of this sort of thing.
Oh, by the way, anyone looking for some nice shoes, like a boot style with high heel, size 8 / 8.5 brown in colour. Let Me Know. And if you have any random clothes that you just don’t know what to do with that are unique. I know someone that is looking for items that might work for theatrical productions – so there’s your fashion tip for this week. I’ve already started a pile!!!
