Knocking Back Wax Build Up

One of the most satisfying things you can do, is clean your ears. Did you know the ear is self cleaning! The ear canal is constantly pulling wax out of the ear. But I suppose there is something gratifying about using a cotton swab to see the wax build-up.

The strange and unusual things that have been found in ears include: a moth, glass, maggots, a dandelion, a tooth. My goodness, how on earth do these things happen. I suppose don’t sleep on the ground, change your pillowcases and get to a doctor if you feel a little “off”! Earwax build-up can cause a variety of symptoms and problems, such as hearing impairment, ear pain or discomfort, tinnitus, dizziness, and reduced effectiveness of hearing aid devices. Just imagine what having bugs or weeds growing in your ear is going to do! And getting those little balls of cotton stuck in the ear canal.

Here is a little gift I got for Christmas! (How thoughtful and useful.) These tiny tools – especially the scoops are great for sampling your wax build up. It is fascinating to see what wax consistency you have in your ear! I am tentative to venture to far down the ear canal. I don’t want to puncture my ear drum, so the tools on the right scare me!!!

One of our listeners offered to do the ear candle treatment on me. It sounded very interesting, yet I did not get around to trying it. Cody has had some ear cleaning done with drops, he was happy with the outcome.

The ear is just another one of those body parts you notice for ear hair growth, dirt and wax build up! I must be looking at people too closely! Happy digging!!
