Pizza for breakfast? How about Pizza flavoured cereal…

Over the years there have been some odd food partnerships to tantalize taste buds, or at least, attempt to tantalize taste buds. Sometimes new flavours don’t quite hit the mark, but they certainly bring a lot of attention to a product, like the latest offering from Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

General Mills has announced they’re selling a limited number of boxes of pizza flavoured Cinnamon Toast Crunch. This isn’t the first time the cereal maker has made an unusual cereal flavour involving Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Last year they partnered with a coffee maker to make an iced coffee flavoured cinnamon toast crunch and a few years ago they even made a Cinnamon Toast Flavoured milk.

This time, they’re teaming up with Totino’s Pizza to make a new flavour of cereal, which is described as a combination of pizza rolls and cinnadust. For anyone who’s had left over pizza for breakfast, they may just be a hit. Only 1,000 boxes of the new Cinnamon Toast Crunch will be sold starting tonight at 7 on their website. In a nod to their partnership with a pizza company, General Mills will be selling the cereal in pizza boxes
