The 30th annual Assiniboia Spring Fever Lotto is in full swing and one of the grand prize options has people talking. One of the grand prize options is an airplane, which is suppled by King Airways Ltd. in Calgary, AB valued at over $161,000. Over the years, organizer Curtis Nelson says nobody has picked the airplane, but maybe 2025 will be the year it flies away.

The lotto fundraiser has generated millions of dollars for local projects in and around Assiniboia, most recently it aided in the construction of the new Southland Co-op Centre downtown Assiniboia. The arena is home to Southern Rebels hockey team, junior hockey teams, state of art dressing rooms, a pickleball court, and much more.

The plane is just one of many grand prize options. Winners can also choose between a 2025 GMC Hummer EV SUV, a New Holland Farm Pack, a John Deere Ranch Pack, a Case IH Farm Pack, or $150,000.

Second Prize is a Yarbo Snow Blower or $5,000, 3rd prize is a Tuscan five piece sectional or $3,000, 4th prize is a Kandi Trail King MT750 electric bike or $2,000, and many other prizes to be won

In all, Assiniboia Spring Fever Lotto is giving Saskatchewanians 85 chances to win including 30 very early buyer prizes on March 23rd, the early bird draw of a fishing trip or $5,000 on April 27th, and the final draws on May 25th.
