The 44th Annual Women of Distinction Awards will take place on Saturday, May 3 at the YWCA Regina kikaskihtânaw Centre for Women and Families.
This year’s celebration will recognize 29 exceptional women from Regina and Southern Saskatchewan who are leading positive change in categories such as Corporate Leadership, Igniting Equity, and Women Breaking Barriers.
Unlike traditional sit-down galas, this year’s event offers a cocktail-style format spread throughout the 96,000-square-foot centre. Guests will enjoy themed food stations, live performances, and interactive activities, including tattoo artists, permanent jewelry, tarot card readings, and live portrait paintings. The event will also feature a silent auction, raffle table, and photo wall.
Proceeds from the evening will support YWCA Regina’s educational programs for women, youth, and children. These programs offer violence prevention workshops, mentorship opportunities, and leadership development, including initiatives like Upstander Workshops, GirlSpace, and the Children Exposed to Violence Program.
