Friday evening the Regina and District Chamber of Commerce handed out their annual Paragon Awards, which celebrates business excellence in the city. The awards were established in 1999 as a way to honour local business leaders in various categories including customer service, new business venture, and environmental excellence. In total there are eight awards that are handed out each year.
This year’s awards were handed out at Delta Hotel, downtown Regina and provided attendees an opportunity to engage and network with other business groups in Regina. Congratulations to the following winners:

Nathan Silljer of Edco plumbing and Heating won the Young Entrepreneur Award

The Community Alliance Award went to the partnership of Municipal Hail Insurance and the Hospitals of Regina Foundation Cardiac Care

The Customer Service Excellence Award went to Hotel Saskatchewan

Canadian Western Agribition walked away with the Marketing and Promotional Achievement Award

Creative Options Regina won the Paragon Award for Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion.

Environmental Excellence went to Green Smart Windows, Doors, and Blinds

Skyline Distillery won New Business Venture

Harvard Western Insurance won the Business of the Year Award.
Other highlights of the evening included recognition of Tim Young of Young’s Equipment for 52 years in the agriculture sector and Bernie Eisworth received the Community Leadership Award for is long time leadership in local baseball.
This year’s awards were also the first for the new CEO of the Regina and District Chamber of Commerce, Mike Tate, who joined the organization in January of 2025 replacing Tony Playter.
