The Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame will add seven new inductees in 2025.
Three athletes, two builders and two teams will be honoured at a ceremony in the fall.
In the athlete category, rugby champion Julie Foster, water polo athlete Noah Miller as well as NFL and CFL punter Jon Ryan.
The 1997 and 1998 Regina Rams football teams, as well as the 1978 and 1980 Saskatoon Harmony Centre women’s softball teams will be inducted into the team category.
Additionally, the 2025 induction will be the first time athletes in water polo and rugby have been recognized individually. With the addition of those sports, 55 have been identified in the Hall of Fame.
With the induction of the class of 2025, the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame will grow to 561 inductees, including 257 athletes, 173 builders, and 131 championship teams.
The 2025 induction dinner and ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 20, at the Conexus Arts Centre.
