The City of Regina is taking action against gophers to keep public spaces safe. The 2025 program targets 32 areas like storm channels and railway edges, which will be marked with yellow signs.
Crews will apply Rozol RTU, a pest control product approved by Health Canada, and monitor each site daily. Signs will stay up until it’s safe. Residents are reminded to keep pets leashed and avoid marked areas, especially when walking with children.
The work will take several weeks and focuses on spring, when gophers are most active.
