A deadline looms for the CAA Saskatchewan Worst Roads Campaign, you have until midnight, April 29th to submit those highways, roadways that are dangerous, annoying and downright pothole riddled. There are some wild, broken down, dangerous roads and CAA would like you to help identify them. As a city, Moose Jaw has some work to be done on their streets. Many are hold overs from last year’s list! Yesterday, I found some large gapping holes on 1500 block of Cameron Street, Regina . The warming conditions of Spring and the cool temperatures at night make the break down of streets and roads around the province happen very quickly.
Angel Blair, Manager Communications and Public Relations joined Good Morning Saskatchewan to chat about the contest and how people can submit their roadways of concern to the CAA contest. The list is a living document so it changes as the names and locations are reported. And for those that contribute to the program, you could win a nice prize of a thousand dollars.
The Top Ten Roads will be announced on April 30th. The hope of the campaign is to work toward better roads and safety for all road users. If you would like to be involved, check out the website and submit your entry.
