The Temple Garden Centre in Moose Jaw will be filled with 90’s country music fans this Saturday as Mark Chesnutt makes a stop on his tour across Canada and the United States. Opening for Chesnutt will be Canadian country icon Aaron Goodvin.
Over the years, Chesnutt has earned 14 number one hits, 23 top ten singles, four platinum albums, and five gold albums. He broke on to the country music scene in 1990 with “Too Cold At Home,” which would reach #3 in the US and earn him a #1 in Canada. He’d also get his first number one song that year thanks to the success of “Brother Jukebox.”
Chesnutt tells CKRM that even after all these years he still loves being on stage and performing in front of a large crowd.
“It makes me nervous. It still scares me to death. After all these years it scares me to death, but that means I still care and I’m really enjoying what I’m doing,” explained Chesnutt.

Aaron Goodvin calls Nashville home now where he writes and records music, but, originally, he hails from Spirit River, Alberta. His singing career started at the age of 12 after winning a singing competition at a mall. By the time he was 25, he packed his bags and headed for Nashville. Goodvin landed his first top 10 hit in Canada in 2016 with “Woman in Love” and would go on to score several more top 10 and top 20 hit songs, including two number one’s with “You Are” and “Boy Like Me.”

The doors will open at 6pm and the show starts at 7.
