City launches first of three seasonal water fountains

The City of Regina has announced three new temporary water stations will available this summer in Regina parks to help people and their pets cool off.

The water stations feature self-closing faucets set at different heights and ground-level catch basins for dogs.

The City launched the first station in Victoria Park, with Buffalo Narrows Park and the Core Community Park launching their temporary water stations in early July.

The temporary fountains will be available from June until October each year.
