An extremely windy day can be expected for many communities in southwestern Saskatchewan on Friday.
Wind Warnings are in place for Swift Current, Maple Creek, Kindersley and Rosetown along with surrounding areas.
Environment Canada says areas under the warning can expect gusts between 70-80 km/h Friday afternoon, with gusts of 100 km/h possible by Friday evening.
Regina is not included in the warning but will experience a breezy day Friday, on Saturday however gusts of 70 km/h are expected around the time the Heritage Classic begins.
