Some areas of the province in desperate need of rain saw that much needed precipitation over the weekend.
Pilger, east of Saskatoon, was the rainfall champion at 64 millimeters.
Environment Canada’s Dan Kulak said other portions, particularly in east central Saskatchewan also got a decent amount of rainfall.
“We had totals of over 30 millimeters being reported basically around Melfort, Nipawin, and just that general broad area. Wynyard had about 20 mm’s, out west Leader and area had 42 millimeters,” Kulak said.
Regina and Moose Jaw did not see much rain but Kulak said some is in the forecast for mid-week.
