Sask. cattlemen advised to take a look at livestock price insurance

Cattle producers in Saskatchewan are being asked to take a look at livestock price insurance this month.

There have been extreme swings in cattle prices this spring because of meatpacking concerns amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
The CEO of the Saskatchewan Cattlemen’s Association, Ryder Lee, says farmers have until May 28th to take advantage of the fall calf price insurance plan.
Lee adds the insurance can be bought over the phone through the crop insurance agency.
