STARS air ambulance has received a one million dollar donation from Redhead Equipment Wednesday in North Battleford.

The announcement was made to coincide with the grand re-opening of their newest branch in North Battleford, and now marks over two million dollars in donations made by Redhead Equipment to STARS since 2012.

The donation will go directly to the operations of STARS helicopter service in both of their Regina and Saskatoon air bases.

While the provincial government funds 50% of operations, STARS still needs to raise the other $10.5 Million dollars per year in order to properly operate.
