Discussions on when to implement Phase 3 of “Re-Open Saskatchewan” to start soon

Now that Phase 2 of the “Re-Open Saskatchewan” plan is underway, people want to know when Phase 3 will hit.

When the government announced the plan to get the economy going, there was no target date given for Phase 3 as there were for the first two.

During the government’s daily briefing on Tuesday, Premier Scott Moe says the first two phases of the plan seem to be going off well as businesses are acting in a safe and responsible manner for both staff and customers.

Moe won’t give an exact date as to when Phase 3 could start, but discussions will be had soon.

“We will discuss in the next number of days setting a target date.” Moe said. “Dr. Shahab had mentioned a time-frame of two, three, four weeks out which would allow us some time to review some of the testing results that have occurred with this Phase 2 opening.”

In Phase 3, restaurants can open at 50 percent capacity and businesses like gyms and child-care centers can re-open as well.
