The Regina Pats announced a couple trades on an already busy week of transactions for the club.
Forward Caiden Daley, who was acquired back in October from the Brandon Wheat Kings, has been traded to the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for a sixth round pick (originally a Medicine Hat Tigers pick) in the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft.
The 19 year old from Winnipeg had 10 points in 25 games during his time with the Pats.
Regina has also swung a deal with the Kelowna Rockets which sees 17-year-old forward Cole Carrier move to the Queen City for a sixth round pick and a conditional eighth round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.
The Strathcona, Alberta native has six goals and 13 points in 30 games this season with the Whitecourt Wolverines of the AJHL. He dressed for eight games with the Rockets, recording one assist.
The Regina Pats are away from the Brandt Centre for the next couple weeks while they battle teams in the league’s U.S. Division.
Saturday night they visit the Tri-City Americans followed by Everett on Sunday to take on the Silvertips, where they traded former Regina forward Ty Kolle.
