  • All-time Head to Head. Saturday will mark the 202nd time the Saskatchewan Roughriders will meet the BC Lions. Saskatchewan leads the series 103-94-4
  • Success on the Road. Saskatchewan has an above .500 record against the Lions in both home and away contests. In BC, the Roughriders are 51-47-2 all-time against the Lions.
  • A Fix for Six? The Roughriders have won their last five contests at BC Place.
  • Lions Turn. Last season the Lions claim the season series between the two teams for the first time since 2016.
  • Fast Start on D. Saskatchewan’s defence has allowed only 13 points during the first quarter in 2023.
  • Late Start on O. This season, the Roughriders offence has scored 66% of their points in the second half.
  • Road Warriors. The green and white have opened up the season with a pair of road victories for the first time since 2003.

  • Canadian Sack Attack. Mathieu Betts in on pace to break Brent Johnson’s record for sacks by a Canadian (17). Through five games Betts has nine sacks, while Johnson had six sacks at this point during his record breaking season in 2005.
