5 new COVID-19 cases in Sask; 12 more recoveries

The Government of Saskatchewan has confirmed five new cases of COVID-19, bringing the provincial total to 627.

Four of the new cases are in the Far North and one is in the South.

Only 99 of the 627 reported cases are considered active.

Twelve more people have recovered from the virus, meaning 521 people have recovered in total.

There are currently five people in hospital in the province, including three in intensive care in Saskatoon.

To date, 42,843 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province.
