Incident on Pasqua First Nation leads to impaired driving and assault charges

A 55-year-old woman faces numerous impaired driving and assault charges after an incident Sunday night on the Pasqua First Nation where a man was allegedly hit by a vehicle.

Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP say they were called to a home on the First Nation where they found an injured man inside with a woman from the same home being taken into custody.  The man was sent to hospital to get treated for his injuries.

Laurenda Khanapace made an appearance in a Regina courtroom on Tuesday.
