Amount of active COVID-19 cases at its lowest since March 22

There are only 55 active cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan marking the lowest number since March 22 which was just days after the province issued a state of emergency.

On Saturday, four new confirmed cases were announced by the province.  Three of the cases are in the Far North and one is in Regina.  It brings the provincial total to 645.  Ten have recovered bringing the total to 580.

There are currently three people in hospital – two are receiving inpatient care (one in Regina and one in Saskatoon) and one is in intensive care (in Saskatoon).
