Beauval COVID-19 outbreak declared over by Saskatchewan Health Authority

The Saskatchewan Health Authority has declared to Beauval outbreak to be over.

Health officials first declared the outbreak on May 1st after a general store employee tested positive for the virus and came into contact with customers between April 21st and 27th.

As of Tuesday, there are no active cases of COVID-19 in the community and no evidence of community transmission.

This is the fifth outbreak to come to an end in Saskatchewan. A community outbreak in Saskatoon is still active, and health officials have warned of a potential exposure in North Battleford after a Walmart customer attended the store likely while infectious.
